- Early Wren IV's were shipped with it turned off due to mistakes
- in manufacturing. I know of no firmware revs for that drive that
- have problems when it is enabled (which doesn't mean that there
- are none). The 94161 doesn't support readahead, as I recall
- (that is a very old drive these days, and slow as well). I
- no longer have any 161's to check this on, but certainly you
- can try, the worst that will happen is that it will not be
- enabled.
