- Hi netters,
- is there any need for comprehensive music software on the SGI
- platform. For instance, notator on the Atari or whatever is on
- the MAC. I talked to a SGI sales rep (I am thinking of buying one)
- and asked about the MIDI capabalities of the machine. He said that
- all the libraries are there, someone just has to write it.
-
- I am open to suggestions as to what people would need in a
- music application.
-
- EG:
- SMPTE
- MIDI
- Postscript ouput of scores
- Sequencer
- Composer
- Compatability with the graphics software on the SGI platform
- ie: adding the sound created to the animation etc.
-
-
- Please send me e-mail if you are interested and have any Ideas.
