- In addition to supporting multisample antialiasing, RealityEngine also
- supports pointsmooth, linesmooth, and polysmooth algorithms as used on
- the VGX. RealityEngine polysmooth is also MUCH faster than VGX
- polysmooth, and gives higher quality results. A 2D scene, such as a
- clock face, is probably better rendered on RealityEngine using polysmooth
- than using multisample, because it will work on any RE, regardless of
- how many raster boards are installed.
