- Hello
-
- When Computing Service first set up my Indigo, they left
- a program called 'ep'. This program has impressed a lot
- of people here - intelligent control of graphics parameters
- has a lot in common with ongoing work to couple music/sound
- to real time displays. Unfortunately, nobody on campus seems
- to have a clue about it - so I'd greatly appreciate any info
- people could give. I have a few particular questions :-
-
- - Is the source code available anywhere?
-
- - Is there any documentation of any sort?
-
- - Is a new release of electropaint likely sometime?
-
- - On my machine, ALL sliders/toggles (except 'triangles/squares')
- are either unlabelled, or are colour coded such that the
- text is completely indistiguishable from the background.
- A lot of guess work goes on! This is the ONLY program that
- has ever done this - is there a workaround? (remapping colour?)
-
- - has anyone done any work in mapping the graphical parameters
- of electropaint to sound/music/dance?
-
- Any comments/help much appreciated.
-
- Thanks
-
- Dave
