  14. When Computing Service first set up my Indigo, they left
  15. a program called 'ep'. This program has impressed a lot
  16. of people here - intelligent control of graphics parameters
  17. has a lot in common with ongoing work to couple music/sound
  18. to real time displays. Unfortunately, nobody on campus seems
  19. to have a clue about it - so I'd greatly appreciate any info
  20. people could give. I have a few particular questions :-

  22. - Is the source code available anywhere?
  23.  
  24. - Is there any documentation of any sort?
  25.  
  26. - Is a new release of electropaint likely sometime?
  27.  
  28. - On my machine, ALL sliders/toggles (except 'triangles/squares')
  29.   are either unlabelled, or are colour coded such that the
  30.   text is completely indistiguishable from the background.
  31.   A lot of guess work goes on! This is the ONLY program that
  32.   has ever done this - is there a workaround? (remapping colour?)

  34. - has anyone done any work in mapping the graphical parameters
  35.   of electropaint to sound/music/dance?
