- Uhh; you are out of luck. 8mm is NOT supported as a bootable device.
- In fact, the first system where it even has a chance of working is
- the r4k Indigo, where I made some changes that should allow it to

- I replied earlier to private mail, but for anyone else who might be
- interested, all 8mm drives are made by Exabyte. Some distributors
- use completely stock drives, others add hardware (such as compresson),
- and/or have custom firmware. SGI is very unlikely to qualify anything
- other than the basic Exabyte drive/firmware (although we are doing things
- like the 10i stacker for some special products).
