- The old version is wrong. You're safe to delete it.

- ioctl.syscon is used by init to set the tty modes of the console
- while in single user mode.

- I do not know why ioctl.syscon is commonly marked changed. There was a
- bug fixed in the way init creates the file, but I don't think that bug
- fix got into IRIX 4.0.5[AB]. (It looks like it made it into BVD.)
