- I just upgraded to 4.0.5 from 4.0.4, and was cleaning up after doing a
- 'versions changed'. While doing this I came across

- m /etc/ioctl.syscon
- ? /etc/ioctl.syscon.O (.O = old version, saved for comparison)

- I looked at the files and they seem pretty opaque to me:

- I searched TFM for documentation, but obviously looked in the wrong

- What is /etc/ioctl.syscon used for? Can I safely blow away the old
