- Hi,
-
- we have several Indigos here, but only one internal DAT. How dangerous
- is it to remove the DAT drive out of a running machine and to insert
- the DAT drive into a running machine? I know that the DAT drive must
- be installed at boot time for the Indigo to realize that it has one,
- but later You can remove it and insert it again without problems I
- suppose.
-
- We once did something like that with our CD-ROM drive and there was no
- problem, but we would like to be on the safe side :-)
-
- Thanks in Advance
-
- Andreas
