- SGI finally got our machine to work with 256M after replacing both CPU boards
- with a more recent revision. It WASN'T the memory board, backplane, I/O board,
- power supply, or 3rd-party SIMMs, all of which were replaced in vain.

- We had a problem with 3rd-party memory on our old 4D/220 and again it was the
- CPU which was the problem.

- The moral: suspect the CPUs when your Power Series doesn't like new/more
- memory, whether 3rd-party or SGI-official.
