  13.     We have just started using xauth/Xauthority here and have
  14. noticed some problems bringing up DGL processes with Xauthority
  15. running.  It seems if my REMOTEHOST environment variable is set, I get
  16. the error: 
  17.     dgl error (comm): read returned 0
  18. but if unset, everything works fine.  
  19.  
  20.     Apologies concerning missing what might have been the relevant
  21. a few weeks ago, but is there a work around?
