  12. I have a Personal Iris and about a couple of months ago we upgraded
  13. the Op. System. Before the Upgrade the compilation was *slow* and
  14. after the upgrade it has gotten *even slower*.

  16. Is there anything I can do about it like setting flags while using cc,
  17. or using a different compiler ?? Or is just a case that linking the
  18. X11 library and using graphics takes so much time  and nothing can be
  19. done about it since there is graphics in the code and hence the
  20. executables produced  are much longer?? Sorry I don't know enough
  21. about compilers to figure it out myself.
