- First, I have no relationship with First Pen Systems, Inc. I am only a very
- satisfied customer.
-
- If any of you are having problems with the PenPoint UI Toolkit and/or wish
- you could quickly put together sample documents, look at PenSIL from First
- Pen Systems, Inc.
-
- They have developed a "Res-Edit" for PenPoint that lets you draw in
- PenPoint almost any of the UI Toolkit items that you want. Buttons, menus,
- tables, etc. You have full access to the object heirarchy and can set
- options on the created objects to your heart's content. These object (UI
- Toolkit) know how to file state, so the documents you create can be used
- for permanent storage.
-
- Their objects are also exportable so you can draw your UI and then paste it
- into your application. By setting the UI items appropriately, your code can
- then use these items (via either a name search or the tag/msg protocols)
-
- This is a great deal for only $169.
