  13. In the current spirit of recycling and conservation of waste, we are
  14. desperately seeking a program/package for novell v2.15 that will       
  15. overlay a message (i.e. "Department of Physics") on every printout
  16. from our printers. We have rather liberal access interms of printing
  17. on our computers. Although this fostered more people to use the
  18. computers and type their reports, it also created problems with
  19. excess printing (i.e. reprinting of resumes because of a tinny
  20. mistakes), multiple printing (i.e. using the printer as a copy
  21. machine to printout multiple resumes), and printing for other purposes
  22. not related to our department. I believe this problem has gotten out
  23. of hand as it stands now, and we are in need to remedy this.

  25. After much thinking, we felt that the best answer to our problem,
  26. and not hinder computer accessibility, was to have an automatic
  27. overlay of a message on every  printout. And we were wondering if
  28. such programs exist for novell? If so, could you inform us with  
  29. the name of this program and where it can be found, so that we
  30. can put an end to the excessive waste?

  32. We have seem a similar package that accomplishes this for the
  33. Macintosh, and has helped great deal in reducing wasteful printing.
  34. We hope very much if such product exists for the PCs.
