- Yes. It could. You don't say how your network is configured i.e. what is
- serving what. I take it that "various /clients" means that you are
- NetBooting. If so, this is likely your performance problem. NeXT only
- supports NetBooting under temporary circumstances for performance and
- security reasons. If you insist on NetBooting, put copious ram in the
- NetBoot clients.

- For reasons unrelated to performance, I would recommend establishing
- /NetApps and /NetLibrary on your fileserver and leaving /LocalApps and
- /LocalLibrary local.
