- Hey! Hold it right there. The routing you need to do can't be done. When
- TCP/IP hands off to ethernet the Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) kicks
- in and converts the 32 bit IP address to a 48 bit ethernet address. When
- you are using SLIP you don't have ethernet so no traffic is possible
- between your ethernet and SLIP. Give up now. Just copy all your junk to a
- floppy to take home and use your work time to read mail and use
- NewsGrazer.
