  12. About one month ago, I posted to ask
  13. "how to turn off a ( monochrome) NeXT station's screen"
  14. I received several answers. ALL of them told me that's impossible to 
  15. turn it off completely.

  17. But now I encountered one thing which makes me reconsidering its possibility:
  18. One user turned off my color station WITHOUT turning off the its power.
  19. Since I don't know any command that can bring it back, I power NeXT down,
  20. then up, to turn ON the monitor. (rebooting doesn't turn it ON).

  22. So I have 2 questions:
  23. 1. how was it done? That guy used some magic that I'm not aware of.
  24. 2. If it can be done on Color, can it be done on Mono?
