- About one month ago, I posted to ask
- "how to turn off a ( monochrome) NeXT station's screen"
- I received several answers. ALL of them told me that's impossible to
- turn it off completely.
-
- But now I encountered one thing which makes me reconsidering its possibility:
- One user turned off my color station WITHOUT turning off the its power.
- Since I don't know any command that can bring it back, I power NeXT down,
- then up, to turn ON the monitor. (rebooting doesn't turn it ON).
-
- So I have 2 questions:
- 1. how was it done? That guy used some magic that I'm not aware of.
- 2. If it can be done on Color, can it be done on Mono?
