- I have recently been give a NeXT to administer, and I am having two
- problems. First, I am ypbinding and nfs-mounting accounts from a sun 3/50
- to my NeXT, and the people are able to log in modify their files and all
- that sort of stuff, but a "who" a "finger" a "ps" all say that the user is
- "UNKNOWN", and "whoami" says "Intruder Alert". My second problem is that I
- am trying to use the network printer, a HP LaserJet III, that is on a
- Sparc IPC running 4.1.2, it seem that in the cf* file that the NeXT
- creates there is a "R:400", SunOS 4.1.2 does not like the "R:400" and
- throws the print job out(It prints just fine under 4.1.1). Is there some
- way to make it so that the "R:" field is not entered, or removed.
