  16. This is an annoying bug, I hope it's been fixed in 3.0.

  18. Also, has anyone else had problems changing the mode on their tty?
  19. Sometimes when I'm on the console and I open up multiple terminal
  20. windows, the one that goes with ttyp2 sometimes balks at the "mesg n"
  21. in my login script, complaining that I don't own the tty so I can't
  22. change it's mode.

  24. I've had this happen under different terminals so I don't think the
  25. terminal program I'm using is at fault.

  27. It's very weird in that it doesn't happen all the time, or with any
  28. pattern that I've noticed.  I thought that if the tty worked once, it
  29. would work all the time, for anyone as it should.
