  20.     We've been developing an application that does exactly what you  
  21. want. It's called SCSI Reassign Blocks and it does SCSI level bad block  
  22. reassignment. It only works on drives that have allocated spare blocks  
  23. during the initialization process.
  24.     Unfortunately, we were burned very badly by our beta testers who  
  25. did not return any evaluations on our software so we have decided to not  
  26. continue further beta testing.
  27.     Hopefully the product should be out by the end of the year, if  
  28. that's any consolence...
