  13. I have uploaded the source and executables for the new release of
  14. Zip 1.9 and Unzip 5.0 to cs.orst.edu and nova.cc.purdue.edu, both
  15. in the pub/next/submissions directory.  The files are:

  17.      unzip50.tar.Z              unzip source
  18.      zip19.zip                  zip source
  19.      zip19-next.tar.Z           above compiled under 2.1 (zip & unzip)

  21. This new release has countless new features over the old release, but
  22. some highlights are better compression using the new PKZIP "deflate"
  23. method and the ability to use zip and funzip as filters in place of
  24. compress and zcat.
