  12. A few questions for those of you who are using equation builder:
  13. 1.  When you want to write   lim f(x) = f(a), for example, can
  14. you put the  x -> a  *under* the "lim" ?
  15. 2.  Does it allow you to place superscripts and subscripts (both)
  16. on any character?
  17. 3. How about built-up fractions containing things like integrals
  18. and derivatives and limits and summations and ...
  19. 4. Can you paste into WriteNow (the one distributed by NeXT before
  20. appsoft came along)?
  21. 5.  Assuming cost is not a factor, how does it compare with something 
  22. like "Create" for constructing technical documents, papers, texts, etc.
  23. 6.  Will the "new" version of WriteNow allow for overstrike, so
  24. you can place superscripts and subscripts on the same character?
  25. 7.  Can you copy one of your EquationBuilder creations from the document
  26. you pasted into, and then put if back into EquationBuilder to modify it?

  28. For a while now, I have been using the old Draw from the Demo folder to
  29. do things like make systems of pde's or built up fractions, summations,
  30. etc.  Also to modify things like Mathematica plots (adding text,
  31. shrinking, etc.) and then just pasting into WriteNow.  The main problem
  32. with this is that you must save all such items with Draw because once
  33. you paste them into the document, you have no way to modify it later
  34. (you can copy it from the doc all right, but when you paste back into
  35. Draw, you can't do anything with it).
