  26. YumYum Software Development is pleased to announce VarioData Version 2.0.

  28. VarioData is a flat-file database for NeXT computers. The program places  
  29. various data elements at your disposal to choose the the desired ones for the  
  30. database layout. The consequent NeXT-like unser interface enables you to work  
  31. with VarioData without any training.

  33. VarioData handles texts, numbers, images, sound files, key words, files and  
  34. much more. Formulas can be defined to any extend desired, default values and  
  35. ranges can be determined and serial or unique numbers will be set  
  36. automatically.

  38. VarioData manages large amounts of data without any problems. Data records can  
  39. be listed in a separate listbox. Data records can be merged into form letters.  
  40. Using the import and export interface allows the exchange of data with other  
  41. programs and computers.

  43. VarioData does not need any server. The extension to SQL databases is in  
  44. development.

  53. The package VarioData consists of the programs VarioBuilder and VarioData.

  55. VarioBuilder is a tool to design VarioData databases. Using the available  
  56. resources you can create your database layout in accordance with your demands  
  57. and ideas. Different data elements are at your disposal which you can choose  
  58. out of three palettes.

  60. With VarioData you fill your database or import data out of other databases.  
  61. Then you can search for all data using any find criteria. All found data  
  62. records are listed clearly arranged in a separate listbox.
  63. You can export your data records into files and you can create form letters  
  64. with for example images out of your database. There are several tools to design  
  65. such letters.

  68. The demo version can handle only 40 data records but is otherwise fully usable.
