  29. I see no problem in NeXT surviving for the next 2-3 years.  Beyond that, I see  
  30. no reason for their failure, but I don't have the needed crystal ball to  
  31. predict the market.  In any event, there will be enough population at that  
  32. point to provide inertial for a few more years, i.e. to the point that anything  
  33. you buy today will be compared to a door stop by then.

  35. And, as I always promote, buy a computer for what it will do for you today.   
  36. Computers are NOT an investment item for the future.  No matter WHAT you buy  
  37. today, there will be something better next year, or sooner. As the owner of  
  38. various deadend systems, i.e. some S-100 systems, a Computer Automation Naked  
  39. Mini 4/10, an Osborne 01, a MAC IIfx, and a NeXTdimension, I know what I'm  
  40. talking about here!
