  11. In all the talk of the modifications to sdmach to increase the buffer size, I
  12. recalled a comment that someone had made:

  14.     "If you want to save some space, try stripping sdmach [hah hah hah]"

  17. Well, I thought he was joking.  And yet, amazingly enough...

  25. How can this be?  And although I feel that the stripped version might work with
  26. no problems, _I_ ain't gonna be the one to try it out.  It might work in the
  27. beginning, but I'd hate to have to deal with sporatic mach-kernel errors.
