- hi!
- I've finally started using my Diagram package. While it seems
- pretty good for many types of diagrams (and has fancy-looking examples),
- I haven't been able to do something that I really need and is normally
- very simple to do, even in drawing packages much simpler than a diagramming
- package:
-
- 1. Basically, I want to have rectangles (boxes) whose text label is
- horizontally and vertically centered in them. So far, it seems to me
- that Diagram's boxes have horizontally centered labels, but not
- vertically (they seem to start near the top of the box). Thus, if
- I have vertically long box with the label "Box", it looks something like
- ----------------
- | Box |
- | |
- | |
- | |
- | |
- | |
- | |
- | |
- | |
- ----------------
- instead of
- ----------------
- | |
- | |
- | |
- | |
- | Box |
- | |
- | |
- | |
- | |
- ----------------
-
- 2. Similar problems with the text (objects?) as well. They don't seem
- to have a good notion of "natural" size. I have to manually resize
- them to the smallest box. This is again a pain when I need to
- vertically center a text with some other object.
-
- Can someone tell me what I'm missing and/or the manual pages to read?
-
- Thanks in advance.
