  11. I would like to download Mac software to my NeXT cube, and then
  12. transfer it to my Mac (either via DOS, directly from Mac floppies
  13. when 3.0 comes out, FloppyWorks, etc...).

  15. The Mac has this thing called MacBinary ( keeps track of file creator and
  16. type and the data in a separate part). If I use binary to d/l to the 
  17. NeXT and then move the files over to the Mac then I have to change
  18. the type/creator using MacTools or whatever. This almost never works in
  19. that .sit or .sea or .cpt files end up being corrupted. It only works 
  20. with .hqx (which are text files within which you find the archive).

  22. Does anyone know how to do this? Or even better, is there a program to 
  23. massage the files on the NeXT before moving them to the Mac. One of
  24. the problems seems to be CR's and LF's. Confusing. Going the other way
  25. is fine (Mac->NeXT).
