- I've run into a VERY strange bug while using "vi" and UCB mail
- on the NeXT. Let's say I'm composing a message in UCB mail
- and now I type "~v" to get into "vi." Now I edit this message
- and type "ZZ" to exit. Now I'm back out in mail and I type
- "~p"....
-
- and the message is gone!
-
- The same thing happens if I originate the message text in "vi".
- I exit with "ZZ" and the text isn't there. And it REALLY isn't
- there because mail then complains with a null message body warning.
-
- And yes I get the same problem if I do a "~r" of an already existing
- file. UCB mail reports that it read x number of bytes and then I do a
- "~r" and the bytes simply aren't there. So this shows its not even a
- "vi" related problem, but one with NeXT's version of UCB mail (or
- something wierd at my site)!
-
- "df" reports that all my partitions have enough disk space so that
- isn't a problem. Anybody else have the same problem?
