  11. I've run into a VERY strange bug while using "vi" and UCB mail
  12. on the NeXT.  Let's say I'm composing a message in UCB mail
  13. and now I type "~v" to get into "vi."  Now I edit this message
  14. and type "ZZ" to exit.  Now I'm back out in mail and I type
  15. "~p"....

  17. and the message is gone!

  19. The same thing happens if I originate the message text in "vi".
  20. I exit with "ZZ" and the text isn't there.  And it REALLY isn't
  21. there because mail then complains with a null message body warning.

  23. And yes I get the same problem if I do a "~r" of an already existing
  24. file.  UCB mail reports that it read x number of bytes and then I do a
  25. "~r" and the bytes simply aren't there.  So this shows its not even a
  26. "vi" related problem, but one with NeXT's version of UCB mail (or
  27. something wierd at my site)!

  29. "df" reports that all my partitions have enough disk space so that
  30. isn't a problem.  Anybody else have the same problem?
