  11. ACK!  My basically-prestine NeXT CDROM player has stopped accepting CD's...
  12. and I don't mean that it doesn't mount then, I mean that the mechanism for
  13. loading the caddy into the reader is buggered up.  It simply just won't
  14. swallow the caddy and drop it down inside for reading (despite the fact that
  15. it seems to insert the full distance required).

  17. I'm taking it back to be serviced (it's still within the warrantee... or is
  18. the CDROM player a 90-day warrantee?  Hmmmm... [rummaging for manual]  Whew!

  22. ...but anyhow, my question is this: has anyone else had problems of this kind?
  23. I always thought that my spring mechanism (on my CDROM player :-) was kinda
  24. weak.
