- - It depends on what they want to do, and what an acceptable response
- time is. You'll need to add more entries in /dev/tty, I think the
- current default is 16 tty's available. Remote logins are usually
- memory cheap, if they're just doing ascii stuff in a terminal,(i.e.
- unix mail, vi , gopher... (no emacs %-)) I'd guess that you could have
- up to about 24 users comfortably with 20 megs. My rough estimate is
- be that you'd require about 8 megs for the os and Window stuff and
- be able to support one additional user for each additional 1/2 meg
- of memory. If you have a >>>>POWER USER<<<< on the console, bump that
- 8 up to 20.
