  11.     Hi, now that I got your attention I was hoping you would be
  12. so kind as to lend me your experience/expertise on several topics I
  13. have been mulling over recently. Let me first qualify myself as the
  14. proud owner of a NeXT Color Turbo Station w/ 250Mb HD and 16Mb Ram,
  15. if it makes any difference.

  17. 1)    Is there a graphics library package which can be linked with
  18.     C programs allowing pixel placement (similar to Borland C++
  19.     getpixel() and putpixel() routines)?  I guess I would like to
  20.     open a 640x480 window, background originally set to something,
  21.     and fill it in pixel-by-pixel.

  23. 2)    Where is the swapfile?

  25. 3)    Is there a monitor-screen cover so it doen't get scatched?

  27. 4)    I want to add more RAM in the smallest increments necessary
  28.     but insuring I can add up to 32Mb without ever having to
  29.     take out a SIMM.

  31. 5)    How do I change SoftPCv2.0's harddrive size to say 30Mb?  Also,
  32.     how do I get it to recognize to A> drive. Now, when I go to
  33.     Preferences and choose Floppy A: and select Internal, it comes
  34.     back with " Cannot gain access to the real floppy device. Check
  35.     permissions on /dev/rfd0b" -- which is currenly crw-r----- 1 root.
  36.     When I become root and try it again it returns: "Unable to open
  37.     floppy device: possibly empty drive?"

  39. 6)    I would like to connect my Hayes compatable modem and dot matrix
  40.     printer...
