- Sorry for posting before a careful inspection of the
- new SIMMs. One of the Goldstar 4MB SIMMS had a metal
- burr soldered over two connectors where the parity
- chip would normally be located. I am returning all
- of these SIMMs to the Chip Mercant in San Diego.

- Do Macs totally ignore the parity lines and therefore
- this defect wasn't detected?
