  14. Sorry for posting before a careful inspection of the
  15. new SIMMs.  One of the Goldstar 4MB SIMMS had a metal
  16. burr soldered over two connectors where the parity
  17. chip would normally be located.  I am returning all
  18. of these SIMMs to the Chip Mercant in San Diego.
  19.  
  20. Do Macs totally ignore the parity lines and therefore
  21. this defect wasn't detected?
