  16. We are working on PC-NeXT connection for better experiment control and data
  17. acquisition.  Our final goals would be 1) Use PC to take data files and NeXT
  18. to graph them.  2) Let user to use the slider on the NeXT to control the
  19. signal sent out by the PC.  Therefore, our first step is to mount from PC to
  20. NeXT.  Both the PC (through Ethernet card) and NeXT are connected to the Dept.
  21. network.  At the PC site, we are using BWNFS v2.30, and added command "net
  22. link NeXT-IP" to the "autoexec.bat";  at the NeXT site, we modified the
  23. "exports" file by adding "-access=NeXTname:otherhostname".  However, no luck
  24. so far.  Whenever we reboot the PC, there was always an error message such as
  25. "access denied, device M: (the drive we defined) not linked."  Is there
  26. anything else we should change?  Could anyone on the net give us some
  27. suggestions?  Thank you very much for your help!
