  28. I, too, have experienced the same power-on problem with the NeXT 17" Color  
  29. Monitor attached to a NeXTdimension.  I do not think it is related to the  
  30. dimension.

  32. I have noticed that the monitor only shows me a blank screen when I hit the  
  33. power switch very quickly.  When this does happen, I just power off the monitor  
  34. only, not the cube, and wait patiently before turning it on again.

  36. Occasionally, I'll reach to hit the power-on button and bounce enough to hit it  
  37. twice.  If I quickly react and attempt power it on after that initial quick  
  38. cycle, it almost always comes up black.  Very disconcerting, but I've always  
  39. gotten a picture by just powering off the monitor and waiting 30 seconds before  
  40. powering back on.
