- I, too, have experienced the same power-on problem with the NeXT 17" Color
- Monitor attached to a NeXTdimension. I do not think it is related to the
- dimension.

- I have noticed that the monitor only shows me a blank screen when I hit the
- power switch very quickly. When this does happen, I just power off the monitor
- only, not the cube, and wait patiently before turning it on again.

- Occasionally, I'll reach to hit the power-on button and bounce enough to hit it
- twice. If I quickly react and attempt power it on after that initial quick
- cycle, it almost always comes up black. Very disconcerting, but I've always
- gotten a picture by just powering off the monitor and waiting 30 seconds before
- powering back on.
