  14. If any one has any information on the malfuntion of:

  16. Hitachi chip: 6063 date code 0a2q and 9b38

  19. Apparently a batch produced in malyasia from about 1990 Jan 12-18
  20. (batch size about 100,000?) have an abnormality in the optical dye.
  21.  
  22. In most cases the chps are fine, except in some situations when there
  23. are malfunctions (duhh!!) after hibernation.  However, if the chips are 
  24. asked to rehibernate, and then taken out, the chips works fine.  In 
  25. standard testing the chips perform properly as well.  Any assistance or 
  26. information that you might be able to offer is greatly appreciated.
