- Up to now, we've been using cartridge tapes for dumping our M/2000.
- However, since we recently added two more disks to the system, the
- prospect of dumping over 2Gb to lots of cartridges is daunting, to say
- the least!
-
- We do have an HP 2000 DAT drive on another system, and I've checked I
- can write to it ok using rdump.ffs on our Mips, so I'd like to use DAT
- for doing our Mips backups. What parameters for density and length of
- the tape would be suitable for telling rdump to use? DAT tapes of 60m
- length seem to be most commonly used here.
-
- Thanks in advance.
