- I believe that the Pyramid MIServer-S running version 1.1 of its
- OS is at least binary compatible with RISC/os 5.0. I compiled some
- simple binaries on both OS's and ran them on the other OS.
- This works OK (both ways). I then tried taking some objects compiled
- on the Pyramid back to the 5.0 box and linking them. The linker barfed
- at the format of the objects (although 'file' seemed to correctly identify
- them). I haven't tried the other direction.
-
- So, does anyone know the status of binary and object compatibility?
- Is it 'here right now', but requires some special attention? or is it
- coming soon (when?).
