  13. We have a problem with our MIPS box 3240.  After a power outage,  the
  14. machine refuses to identify its name and can not start any network daemons.
  15. We removed the local_hostname file and rebooted the machine.  But the script
  16. (sysetup) did not prompt for hostname and IP address.  If we set the host
  17. name either in single user mode OR before starting network daemons, the
  18. machine works OK.  We get this disk error " FREE BLK COUNT(S) WRONG IN
  19. SUPERBLK 
  20. SALVAGE (y)"

  22. I appreciate any suggestions and ideas to get over this problem.
