- We've just bought a new Apple 150 CDROM player, and after testing it on a borrowed
- LC I hooked it up to what was intended to be a permanent home, on a networked IIcx.
-
- Problem: it now isn't possible to eject a CD unless filesharing is turned off, first.
- Even if the disk isn't shared, the Mac assumes it is, and throws up an error
- message.
-
- I can't leave it like this, 'cos the first user who knows enuf to turn off file
- sharing wil disconnect that Mac from the network..
-
- Is this a common problem? Is there an answer?

-
- ps It seems hard, particularly as we don't WANT to share CDs!
