- This pertains to the "original" IIsi sound problem (i.e., random silence),
- not the microphone problem. Thanks to all for your advice & to Dave for the
- summary. He came very close to answering my related question, but not
- quite. So: If the sound always works with an external speaker, then doesn't
- that mean that the speaker contacts are NOT the problem? I'd rather do an
- experiment than unnecessary Mac surgery. Would this external speaker test
- disprove the speaker-contact theory if it worked, or are they connected?
