  20. when the System gets corrupted and you have to reinstall it, you LOSE
  21. all those resources.  This happens frequently enough that I never keep
  22. anything in the System file except the fonts that System 7 forces me

  34. Suitcase 2 is a great alternative.  It probably does slow things down
  35. a bit, but if speed were that big an issue I'd go back to System 6
  36. long before I'd quit using Suitcase.

  38. BTW, I'm only stating my preferences on this one point, and not in any
  39. way agreeing with the previous poster's opinion that there are idiots
  40. working for Apple.  Obviously there are many brilliant people there,
  41. with many different viewpoints.  I just don't always agree with the
  42. compromises reached.
