  10. A friend just installed System 6.0.8 on his venerable Mac+.  When he tries
  11. to launch any of his DAs under Multifinder the Mac hesitates for a second
  12. and then makes a sound similar to the startup "Boing".  He tried removing
  13. all the DAs (Font/DA Mover) and then reinstalling them but to no avail.

  15. To add to the strangeness, the DAs work fine if he is running only under
  16. Finder.  He and I are both rather puzzled by this behavior and would
  17. appreciate any suggestions.  R
