  13. We are having some problems with System 7.0.1 with the latest tuneup
  14. installed.  Here's a brief listing of the chain of events...
  15.  
  16. -First, we noticed that the system (Quadra 900) was running a bit slow
  17. -We could not print with PrintMonitor it told us that there was not enough
  18.  memory for PrintMonitor even after we increased it to 1MB.  We were not
  19.  printing anything big just a Print Window... from the finder's File menu.
  20. -We pulled PrintMonitor from the Extensions folder and tried to print, again
  21.  not enough memory to print (Finder Error not a printer error)
  22. -We then tried to open the System Suitcase, the Finder told us that it was
  23.  damaged.
  24. -We tried to reinstall System 7, Quadra froze.
  25. -We trashed the System File on the Quadra and then successfully installed
  26.  System 7 and TuneUp
  27. -Opened the Control Panel and set 256 colors and then added a desk pattern
  28.  and when we closed the General CP the System froze.
  29.  
  30. We did this several times and it produced the same problem.  Can someone
  31. give me some advice?  Thanks!!!
