- 1) There IS a thing around that understands these (along with a gazillion
- other image formats) but I can't for the life of me remember its name. I
- THINK it's something like imagery (not NCSA Image). Look at sumex-aim. I
- guess its in info-mac/ utill or app (or maybe graphics/programs if such a
- thing exists)

- 2) Get SoundTrecker from sumex-aim in sound/st (or maybe in sound/programs)
- along with the mod files that it uses (which definitely are in sound/st.
- Now THAT is background processing. This sucker doesn't stop doing its thing
- while the hard drive is accessed. It stops occasionally in floppy accesses,
- but surprisingly rarely. Truly an awesome program.
