- Hi. I have some basic questions I need help with.
-
- I am not a computer programmer, though I used to fiddle with Basic.
- I recently downloaded Alpha 5.0 because I wanted to use its tcl
- scripts to help me in formatting screenplays.
-
- I am now printing out the help files, but I still have some questions:
-
- 1. Can you use Alpha/tcl to manipulate soft page breaks? Can a
- page break be recognized by tcl? Id like to be able to control
- the pagination of screenplays.
-
- 2. What is Latex and how is it different from tcl?
-
- 3. Has anyone out there used Alpha to write screenplays?
-
- 4. In general, is tcl hard to use? Im not an experienced programmer, as
- I said, and Im wondering if I am getting in way over my head.
-
- 5. Is there any other tcl documentaton which is helpful in using it with
- Alpha?
-
- Please reply to mirsky1@husc.harvard.edu
-
- Thanks
-
