  14. Hi. I have some basic questions I need help with.

  16. I am not a computer programmer, though I used to fiddle with Basic.
  17. I recently downloaded Alpha 5.0 because I wanted to use its tcl
  18. scripts to help me in formatting screenplays.

  20. I am now printing out the help files, but I still have some questions:

  22. 1. Can you use Alpha/tcl to manipulate soft page breaks? Can a  
  23.    page break be recognized by tcl? Id like to be able to control
  24.    the pagination of screenplays.

  26. 2.    What is Latex and how is it different from tcl?

  28. 3.  Has anyone out there used Alpha to write screenplays?

  30. 4.  In general, is tcl hard to use? Im not an experienced programmer, as
