  12. A friend of mine is giving an assembly language course and wants to illustrate  
  13. some alternative approaches to keyboard I/O including polling the VIA (all this  
  14. is on an SE and he is not concerned about using higher level interfaces,  
  15. portability, etc.)
  16.  
  17. Any pointers, ideas etc. welcome. I can supply more detail but I suspect this  
  18. question is not of general interest.
