- When I start my program up, it draws the screen, redraws the screen, and then gets going
- I narrowed it down to an update event that either isn't getting killed off
- when it should, or is getting generated when it's not supposed to. Using the
- thinkC debugger, I found that my handleUpdateEvent() routine is getting called
- immediately after I enter the event loop. I tried to flush the events right before
- I enetered the loop, but that din't work either. I'm rapidly running out of idas
- and I'm starting to consider NOT drawing my screen initially, but just let the update
- routine handle it when I start up...
