I would strongly suggest ftp'ing (or otherwise obtaining) the source to
Wayne Rasband's NIH Image program from alw.nih.gov -- it is written in
Think Pascal and is a color graphics editing program (lots of painting
tools). From an Object-Oriented perspective, you should look at the color
