  21. I would strongly suggest ftp'ing (or otherwise obtaining) the source to
  22. Wayne Rasband's NIH Image program from alw.nih.gov -- it is written in
  23. Think Pascal and is a color graphics editing program (lots of painting
  24. tools).  From an Object-Oriented perspective, you should look at the color
  25. painting program which comes with THINK Pascal.
