  22. enclosed please find the latest version of Volts.  the present
  23. version was released to correct difficulties that some users had
  24. in running Volts under MultiFinder and/or System 7's Finder.
  25. the problem manifested itself in an inability to switch from
  26. Volts to the Finder or any other application or desk accessory
  27. (i.e., an inability to run Volts in the background).  if you
  28. have an older (version 1.1) copy in your archives, please
  29. replace it with the enclosed contents.

  31. Volts is a mini-application which displays a digital readout of
  32. the battery voltage (and other status information) of one's
  33. Macintosh PowerBook or Portable.  it also provides (indirectly)
  34. a rough estimate of the amount of battery life remaining.

  36. the application and a manual (Microsoft Word format) are in
  37. a binhqxed self-extracting archive.
