  19. I know! I know! :) Let me guess, you've got DeskPict installed,
  20. right? The INIT which puts a picture on your desktop instead of
  21. the boring old patterns which you normally have? That's what's
  22. causing the strip of screen to vanish. I have it at home and it
  23. does exactly the same thing. There's no real fix to it, other
  24. than to buy the commercial version (comes with Now Utilities I
  25. believe), which I'm thinking of doing...
