- I know! I know! :) Let me guess, you've got DeskPict installed,
- right? The INIT which puts a picture on your desktop instead of
- the boring old patterns which you normally have? That's what's
- causing the strip of screen to vanish. I have it at home and it
- does exactly the same thing. There's no real fix to it, other
- than to buy the commercial version (comes with Now Utilities I
- believe), which I'm thinking of doing...
