  12. I've gotten a number of requests for the answer to the question 
  13. of whether one can write a floppy using a Sun sparcstation that
  14. can then be read by a MAC.

  16. The answer is a freeware MAC utility called "suntar" (for "Speranza's 
  17. untar") that is available from sumex (or umich, I'm told) that runs
  18. on the MAC and that will read floppies written using UNIX "tar" or "bar."

  20. It's a very well-written piece of s/w and the authors should be
  21. complimented on a job well done.
