- I've gotten a number of requests for the answer to the question
- of whether one can write a floppy using a Sun sparcstation that
- can then be read by a MAC.
-
- The answer is a freeware MAC utility called "suntar" (for "Speranza's
- untar") that is available from sumex (or umich, I'm told) that runs
- on the MAC and that will read floppies written using UNIX "tar" or "bar."
-
- It's a very well-written piece of s/w and the authors should be
- complimented on a job well done.
